Ivanhoe Reservoir is especially design for a new underground reservoir in Griffith Park by water Protection Department in Los Angeles. Due to high level of bromate in water that produce when bromide reacts with chlorine in the presence of sunlight, the water protection department covers the reservoir with 40000 black plastic balls to avoid the formation of bormate in water.
