-The shortest war was between UK and Zanzibar which lasted from 9:02 am to 9:40 am on 27 august 1896.
500 zanzibaries were killed, one uk person was injured. it was fought because UK was not in favor of the new sultan who came into power on 25th august. UK prefered another person as a sultan...!!!
